PGR'S FACILITIES

Peter Grayson Racehorses is able to offer you and your horse world-class facilities without equal in the North West.

The stables were built in 2003, and so all of the 51 boxes are in first class condition. Purpose built to Peter's specification, they are designed to keep your horse calm and ready for action. many owners have told us how relaxed their horses have been since coming to PGR.

To enable us to assess and train your horse, we have a 3 furlong all weather ‘cushion track ’ circular gallop. Situated in front of the owners' lounge, this track offers a completely unique opportunity for you to witness your horse at work. In addition to this, just a short walk from the complex, is our 7 furlong dirt gallop. This is where we can work the horses at top speed, enabling Peter to see where the work needs to be done.

The indoor sand arena allows the team to safely break yearlings.

Other facilities include a covered horse exerciser to keep the horses active and our hi-speed treadmill. Capable of taking the horse from a gentle walk to a full gallop, including being able to be angled to simulate work on an incline, this hi-tech equipment is an essential part of Peter's training arsenal.

The  entire yard is laid with h-block rubber walkways to prevent injury to the horses. Our vehicle fleet includes an Oakley fitted luxury horse box to keep the animals happy on those long journeys between yard and race track.
