Unplaced in his first four starts last year but has since been performing consistently finishing in the frame  over 5 furlongs at Wolverhampton (2nd of 7), 6 furlongs at Kempton (4th of 7), 7 furlongs at Wolverhampton (3rd of 12) and 5 furlongs at Kempton (4th of 11).

Put up his best effort to date when beaten a neck by Jojesse  in a competitive 5 furlong Handicap at Musselburgh on 9th April.  He rallied well under Graham Gibbons (put up 3lb overweight) in the final furlong after being headed and then ran a great race to finish 5th of 11 at Kempton after rearing as the stalls opened but finished strongly to suggest that he would have won if breaking on level terms.  Disappointed in two subsequent starts at Carlisle and Lingfield before staying on well in the closing stages when 3rd to Inspainagain (beaten 1¾ length and a short head) at Musselburgh on 25th June.  Unplaced in two subsequent starts before finishing a creditable 3rd of 10 (started slowly and was nearest at the finish) in a 5f Handicap at Folkestone on 16th August.
