A lightly raced gelded son of Fasliyev who was purchased at the Tattersalls Autumn Horses In Training Sale. Unraced as a juvenile, he made a winning debut in a 6 furlong Thirsk Maiden in May for William Haggas. Has finished in the frame in two of his four subsequent starts including when 4th of 16 (beaten 8½ lengths) in a Newbury Handicap on soft ground on 10th October.
Unplaced in first three starts for PGR although not beaten far at Wolverhampton on 21st November (7th/13) and Lingfield Park on 10th January (7th/11). Showed improved form to finish runner up to the speedy Almaty Express in a 5f Handicap at Wolverhampton on 22nd January. Did not get the run of the race but was only beaten 1¼ lengths by the winner who was completing a quick fire double. Finished runner up over the same course and distance 5 days later when deadheating with Financial Times for the runner up spot. Was however ½ length behind Figaro Flyer at the line but was running on strongly. Put up a pleasing effort on his first start on the fibresand when 3rd of 10 (beaten 4½ lengths) behind Rowe Park at Southwell (5 furlong Handicap) on 11th February. Again filled the runner up spot behind Almaty Express back at Wolverhampton in a 5 furlong Handicap on 26th February.
Again ran well after a 7-week break when 4th of 13 in a competitive 5 furlong Handicap at Windsor on 16th April (beaten just over a length); 3rd of 8 at Thirsk (beaten 1¼ lengths) to Oranmore Castle on 5th May; 5th of 12 at Lingfield (turf) on 11th May; 5th of 8 (beaten under 2 lengths) in a 5 furlong Handicap at Ayr on 23rd May; 4th of 12 (beaten 2½ lengths) to Raccoon at Musselburgh nine days later and 4th of 8 (beaten 2¼ lengths) to Elkhorn at Hamilton on 28th June.
Unplaced in two subsequent outings during July at York and Catterick.
